Welcome! Below are a few projects that I'd love to discuss with you, highlighting areas of leadership for your team's Church Partnership Manager (2025289)

Church Leadership & Volunteer Mobilization

I co-authored a book for Moody Publishers on the necessity of pastoral leadership to empower their people to "do ministry." I've served in a variety of church sizes, contexts, and even denominations. I've also partnered with a variety of churches, ministries, and denominations through publishing and freelance work. I love the church and have devoted my life to her health and flourishing.

Micah Fries and I wrote this book while serving together at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. As the Discipleship Pastor, I led the majority of the church’s staff and volunteers serving 2,000 weekly attendees and increased small group participation to 65% of weekly attendance. We also had a booming ESL ministry that primarily served muslim refugees and immigrants.

My role: co-author, pastor

Objective: mobilize volunteers

Curricula & Group Learning

My specialty for 20+ years has been conversational group learning experiences for churches and ministry events—partnering with some of the leading pastors, authors, and organizations in American evangelicalism. This particular project targeted a broader evangelical audience than the publisher's usual core audience and is one of several group bible studies I developed with Matt Chandler and Village Church for Lifeway.

My role: writer, editor, stakeholder and cross-functional team management

Objective: equip and empower churches, small groups, and families to discuss historical Christian beliefs

Strategy & Messaging

The following campaign included this social media carousel for the third volume of a series providing accessible-yet-robust theological foundations for churches. The Image of God: A Holy Design for Human Dignity was a successful product launch and the campaign with the highest engagement at that time. The campaign also included other social, email, and event promotion. The resource presented a holistic view of "life issues" rooted in the imago dei, including care for vulnerable populations and even love for enemies.

My role: creative direction for campaign (art and copy), publisher and editor for resource

The goal: awareness and lead generation for new resource; moment of reflection and empathy as users scrolled through their social media feeds.
